15 Months...

Honestly...

And I say that in the 85 year old Minnesota voice that I can pull out of nowhere...

Honestly, I can't believe my baby is 15 months.

That sounds so silly...

I used to never do that...15 months...18 months...24 months...52 months...

I always just rounded up or down...whichever was closer to a year. It's not a bad thing to count by months, I just quit doing it after our second.

But I feel in a lot of ways like I have reverted back to the "first baby syndrome"

I digress...

On the one hand I think... where has the time gone.

On the other hand she makes me feel very old.

I am getting up there ya know...

She's into EVERYTHING... This little duck t-shirt was worn by both of her older sisters and is still in pretty good shape. I'm so sentimental about stuff like that.

Her sisters love her and pay LOTS of attention to her. And she loves her some baby dolls...

Can't you tell, as she's digging the eye out of the doll in the photo above.

Her sisters are very helpful. They are great entertainers and love to pitch in and feed or play with her when I ask.

She loves her brothers cars...

And the things I've found in her mouth...

I cannot think about that right now. But I will say you can't leave her alone for a second!

She's a joy. Happy all the time and so much fun to play with. And sweet... full of hugs...pats on the back...and big sloppy kisses...

And she's trying to talk now...Her favorite word is DAD. She will repeat it over an over and over... and she gets that conversational tone when she's jabbering. So cute and if you answer her she will shake her head as though she's agreeing with you.

She also signs. She's got a sign for please...and more...all done (or all finished for you English fanatics)...she waves bye and blows kisses...

I could eat her up!!!
We never expected her...

And we don't know what we ever did without her...

God is good.
