Last Day of School

Every year on the last day of school we...

Go to the city.

One might think we live in the country...

Don't you just have visions of Pa hitchin up the team...

We don't live in the country.

The "city" is down town.

We go to buy lots of candy so they can get all hyped up.

This year my parents wanted to treat us to lunch. (School was just half day)

The brothers were just happy to be together...

And little ones were just happy to be out of the stroller...

I was happy to be with my girl...

Then it was on to the sugar...

Actually, my K5'er had her last day yesterday...

Her teacher told her she didn't have to come to school today if she didn't want too...

Think she was a little too excited about going to the city??

And so as I'm typing they are all hitting their sugar low...

Coloring quietly...

Except for the occasional argument over who's using what color marker...

It's good to have them home for a while!!!
