My Baby's Business...

Today, this is what my 18 month old thinks you do with toilet paper...
But not for long...

We're getting on with the business of ... her business...

Getting her used to her throne...
And her new drawers...

{It's times like these when I feel like I'm too old to have a baby.}

But the thought of not buying diapers any more is really, really appealing to me.

Incidentally, I've didn't potty train any of my others this young... if anyone has any helpful hints I would be happy to hear them. Thanks!

oh my...potty training is my LEAST favorite thing about parenting:)

I learned to not even bother if they show ZERO interest.

Here's an example. My 2 yo son wasn't phased one bit if he peed while playing with his farm animals. I finally learned that if he didn't care to stand in a puddle of pee while playing (and singing) "Old McDonald," then he just wasn't ready to be potty trained:)

Nikki, LOL. I know. I didn't even try with the others until they were 3. But I figured I'd give it a go. She loves to sit on the potty, but she's not getting that you actually have to DO something while there. I'm not stressed about it. If she's not ready...we'll try again later.

My sister potty-trained BOTH her daughters at 18-mos. They are now 22 and 20, and seem to be well-adjusted young adults:)
So, early potty training can be done!
It does feel good to not have to tack on all that cash to your grocery bill every week!
