Look deep inside this truck...
Can you see it?
It's a desk and dresser and bookshelf...
They were Gregg's as a child...
This is our boys room before...
*******and after************

I love thinking of Gregg's hands riffling through these drawers to find some shorts and a t-shirt...
and 35 years later, his boys are doing the same thing.
I don't know if you can see it, but there is a built in light under the book shelf.
It's my favorite part.
I love thinking that these 2 little "treasure drawers", on either side of the light, once held Greggs treasure and are now holding the boys treasures.
There was no chair, but we had an extra one hanging out on the front stoop.
I used my trusty mouse sander that my husband gave me and...
Cushion courtesy of my new favorite store... IKEA
I think it came out pretty well...
I love that Gregg used to sit here at this same desk to do his homework and all these years later, his boys get to sit there and to theirs...
I know that non of the furniture in there matches and I'm great with that...
The bunk beds we bought...
The blue shelf I got at a yard sale back when Sam was just a baby...
And the desk/dresser/bookshelf came from Dad...
While I'm really sentimental, Gregg isn't the kind of guy to "gush" about this kind of thing, but I did ask him(as he stood opening and closing each drawer carefully) if it made him feel nostalgic. His answer...
"I can remember what was in every drawer."

Thanks MawMaw and PawPaw for giving the boys their dads stuff...
Thanks to Aunt Katie for driving that HUGE truck up here to drop it off. I really wish I'd have gotten a picture of you in the HUGE truck with the desk and shelf.
